Winter Birthday

I'm not sure if it was the snow or the lack of coffee but I was incapable of feeling excited about my birthday. After being completely thrown for a loop with Jax's school being called off and scrambling for a babysitter so that I could come to work, I have spent this entire morning trying to convince myself that I am like George Clooney, gets better with age.

My dearest friend Amanda did make my morning despite my un-excitement. She made me a wonderful white cake with white frosting, my favorite. What can I say, I'm classic! I think it snows every year for my birthday and I'm just sick of it. So hopefully everyone made it to their destination this morning and hold on tight because there is more to come.

My one day older cousin Alisha was here to kick off the week long celebration of our birthdays. It was more than nice to catch up with her. Fingers crossed....she may be moving here...

A New York 5th Ave apartment + David Mann of MR architecture + Decor= this fun spread in Interior Design October Issue. With a traditional floor plan, a family with 3 school age kids and the Metropolitan Museum of Art the man definitely gets 2 thumbs up from me. "...feeling of fun, nothing to serious" Exactly what I try to say everyday.....
